Dr Alex Short is a Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of experience supporting adolescents and adults experiencing a broad range of psychological concerns.
Alex is passionate about finding the right balance between providing evidence-based psychological therapies and creating a warm, safe and relaxed environment where clients feel genuinely heard, understood and supported.
He understands that seeking psychological support can feel like a significant step. Alex works collaboratively with clients to develop a shared understanding of their experiences, identify meaningful goals and tailor therapy to their individual needs, preferences and circumstances.
Alex has particular clinical interests in the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma and anxiety disorders, including obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). He also supports individuals experiencing depression, life transitions, neurodivergent presentations and a wide range of other mental health concerns.
